The life of a samurai is based on Bushido, an ancient Japanese code from the burrows of 12th century Japan, or more accurately the Kamakura Period. Bushido shined her guiding principles of loyalty, courage, and honor on her followers, suggesting that fear only be conquered by the exposure and disenfranchising of one's self; to put his guiding grace before his superficial and often mortal qualms. Influenced yet sometimes blanketed with paradox by Chinese derived Zen Buddhism, the samurai nurtured his homeland and pledged to defend the Emperor and dynasty therein, even if it meant suppuku.

On throughout the early misgivings of the 21st century, Bushido and the way of the samurai continue to thrive via natural products separation and isolation. The way of the sword, often incorporating a deep philosophical element, is the tsunami of momentum ridden by the modern chemist that continues to flourish in what many believe to be a resurgence of the Renaissance. The skills of extraction are a mountain whose height maintains extemporaneous performance not for personal benefit, but rather self-sacrifice. Using only the tools available, this gentle titrating warrior will elucidate the plethora of structures hidden away by Nature's complexity; a journey toward chemical, biological, and spiritual enlightenment so gregariously daring that it incarcerates the caste's nobility for a period far from finite. But you have to be handy with the glassware if you know what I mean, earn your keep. NPC, mount up.

To all the people who made this journey remotely possible, I offer my samurai props:
